Pair This With Your Fruity Pebbles
Strawberry Milk Punch
Milk punch is an iconic drink in New Orleans and throughout much of the south. It is most often made with Brandy or bourbon, sometimes an addition of rum and vanilla, and garnished with nutmeg. It's a festive holiday drink, and makes a great eye-opener in the morning. My version has strawberries, both to celebrate Spring and to accompany the Fruity Pebble moment that's been happening in food. The cereal is showing up in baked goods, ice-creams, flavored milk and who knows what else. If you want to get really crazy, you could steep some Fruity Pebbles in milk, eliminate the strawberries from the recipe, and use the flavored milk. Fruity Pebble Milk Punch. Do it.
